The content of this portal complies with Law 12/2014, of December 26, on transparency and access to public information (BOC 5, of 9.1.2015), whose provisions are applicable, in accordance with Art. 3 to “Other obliged parties” as follows:

“1. Political parties, trade unions, business organizations, and private entities that receive aid or subsidies charged to the Budget of the Autonomous Community for the financing of their activities and ordinary operations will be subject, in addition to the transparency obligations established in the basic legislation, to the specific requirements of information disclosure that may be established, among those provided in Title II, in the development provisions of this law, and the corresponding calls, in the following cases:

a) Political parties, trade unions, and business organizations, in any case.
b) Private entities that receive such aid or subsidies in an amount greater than 60,000 euros, or when the aid or subsidies received represent at least 30% of their total annual income, provided they reach at least the amount of 5,000 euros.”

Looking For Development, Asesores y Consultores S.L. was founded in Gran Canaria on July 16, 2008, as an advisory and strategic consultancy entity. Subsequently, in November 2009, a branch was established in Senegal.

Main headquarters: Av. del Pintor Felo Monzón, 30 Edificio 1 – Piso 4 A. 35019 – Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain).

Branch headquarters: Lot D. Ngor Almadies. Dakar (Senegal).

Our team:

LFD is composed of a multidisciplinary team of external professionals with extensive work experience in the field of international relations, particularly in West Africa and, in recent years, in Central America.

The entity has always advocated for a horizontal organization model carried out by autonomous teams working collaboratively on each of the projects or initiatives it develops.

The Management and Administration is led by Francisco González Pérez, a graduate in Political Science and Sociology and an expert consultant in international development cooperation. He has extensive work experience in various countries in Africa, Latin America, Central America, and the Caribbean. He has collaborated with delegations of the European Parliament and multiple non-profit organizations, in addition to having been Project Director for the General Council of Nursing of Spain and Secretary of the UNITWIN-UNESCO Chair for Research, Planning, and Development of Local Health Systems at the University of Las Palmas de G.C.

For the execution of the initiatives it develops, LFD relies on a network of external consultants and specialist collaborators who provide their services per project, either through a contractual relationship or through professional fees.

The remuneration of personnel hired for projects is governed by the national agreement for consultancy and market research companies and public opinion (see PDF), according to the current salary tables.
